How to Talk to Other Players
There are multiple ways to talk to other players. As a new player, you can use "Say," "Shout," and "Tell." "Say" can be heard by players near to you, "Shout" can be heard by any players in the same area, and "Tell" allows you to send a message to a specific player, regardless of where they are.

Click on the buttons for how you want to speak, either Say, Shout, or Tell. Click on the empty bar below those buttons (or press the enter key), type out what you want to say, and press enter. If you want to send a tell to another player, you will have to type that player's name in the small area to the left (see the picture above for details).
