Lv1-5: Go on a journey

Level up around HOME III and get yourself a Demon Friend

At first you may want to acquire various weapons at various shops around the city. You should gain some experience while fighting demons around HOME III. When you first leave the city, you will reach the destroyed "Suginami" area. The first Demons that you will meet are "Pixie" and "Kodama". Don't forget to check out HOME III and get all the information you can get! Also try to get some practice with the combat skills.

After that, you should try to make a new demon Friend. To make a a demon your partner you have to negotiate with it first! You need to use "Negotiation" skill to make a demon become your friend.

Now go make a demon around "Suginami" become your friend to get experience in "Negotiation". "Talk" is effective for "Pixie" and "Kodama".

You can not make a demon your friend if its level is higher than yours. A demon friend is a strong partner that supports you.

Do not forget to carry some "Magnetite" when summoning, as summoning your demon will cost you an amount of Magnetite depending on the demon and your alignment!

A Guard at HOME III

When you clear Act 1-4, talk to a guard at HOME III. He will give you a quest to set a home point.

Recommended Quest 2

Hakamada from Hakamada weapon shop

Help the Hakamada weapon shop at HOME III. If you offer to help him, you will obtain a gun and 30 bullets. If you beat 5 Cait Sith, report it to Hakamada!

Recommendation from Yagiya:

You can recover HP and MP immediately by using: Ointment - to recover HP +30 Chakura Gum - to recover MP +10. When a Demon Friend dies you can revive it by using a Revival Bead! It will revive a demon friend with 25% of his MAX HP.

Lv6-9: First Tasks

Start an episode

Your next goal is to learn fusion to proceed to the next episodes. To do that, your first task will be to bring a Leader Pixie to Snakeman in HOME III. Pixies can be found around HOME III. Remember to raise the level of your Leader Pixie to level 6 after you made it your friend! You remember how to make demon friends, right? As the Episode continues, you will have to chose which side you want to align with: "LAW", "CHAOS" or "NEUTRAL"

Demon Fusion

You have met the Master of the Cathedral of Shadow, haven't you? As you may know, he will help you with fusions. When a demon fusion is finished, a fused demon can inherit some of those skills the demons it was fused from had. Find the ideal demons to fuse them repeatedly to make them stronger while you fuse them. There are various fusions in addition to double fusion!
Inherited skills from the demon fusion will be usable by the demon and they will receive the same level of skill.

Recommended Quest 1

A guard at camp Ground in Suginami

The guard will ask you to beat 5 Victory Rainbow Jack Frosts by using "Counter". Report back to the guard if you are successful.

Recommended Quest 2

Dabster DB

The dabster DB will ask you to beat 5 Kissy Pixies. Report back to the dabster DB if you are successful.

Recommendation from Yagiya:

When reaching Lv10, you should report your current situation to Snakeman, he will give you Grum.
If you want a fused demon friend to learn Skills quickly you can use those:

• Incense of Heredity : x 1.5 to all inherited skills for 30 minutes.
• Incence of Memory (S) : x 6 to all inherited skills for 30 minutes.

Lv10-15: Suginami

Dungeons

The first Dungeon is Suginami Tunnel (Bronze). At last one BOSS demon is waiting for you there!
You can enter it alone or with a party. You can also choose the dungeons difficulty (Bronze, Silver or Gold) to match your level.
Well then, lets clear the Suginami Tunnel dungeon (Bronze)! First you need to obtain a "Plate" to enter a dungeon. A shining stone is the entrance to the Suginami Tunnel dungeon.


You need a key that is called "Plate" to enter the "Suginami Tunnel". Beat Cait Sith and Jack Frost to obtain a Plate. You can also buy it at the Yagiya shop in the Suginami Tunnels.

Every demon has a weak point. Try to damage its weak point as much as possible! There are many demons that are weak to guns and magic in Suginami Tunnel.



Boss demons in Suginami Tunnel are very strong, so be careful!

Try to get some help from other DBs to attack strong boss demons. Only you and members of your party can enter your Suginami Tunnel dungeon! Open the party list from communication menu to join a party or create your own.
There are some traps and a BOSS Demon is waiting for you somewhere in the dungeon. Be careful!

Recommended Quest 1

Seasoned DB at HOME III

Talk to the seasoned DB and ask him about a "Party". You will be asked to form a party. If you talk to the seasoned DB again after forming a party, you will be able go to the training area.

Recommended Quest 2

Master of the Cathedral of Shadow at HOME III

Collect 20 Soul Shards while its new moon and pass give them to the Master of the Cathedral of Shadows. Kodama will drop Soul Shards in Suginami Tunnel (Bronze).

Recommendation from Yagiya:

Demons in dungeons are usually stronger than those in the open, so be careful and use:

• Muscle Drink: + 50% Max HP for 60 minutes
• Orb of Speed: + 1.5 times player and demon movment speed for 30 minutes

Lv16-20: Shinjuku Babel

You should start to head for Shinjuku Babel through Suginami and Nakano. There are new buildings there even after the Great Destruction of Tokyo!

Yagiya has opened shops in Suginami and Nakano, so you can buy items on your way to a new area.

In Shinjuku Babel you can learn "Mounting" which allows you to mount a demon (Lv20 is required).

The mysterious Saint Germain can teach you about the "Chain Expertise" skills also.

Discarded woman at HOME III

You will be asked to try to find her husband who got lost on his way to Shinjuku Babel. You can find the husband in Shinjuku Babel but you need to obtain a certain item to finish the quest.

Recommended Quest 2

DB Saito at Shinjuku Babel

Register "Hua Po" and "Seasoned Hua Po" in your Demonic Compendium. To do so use the "Demonic Compendium Memory: Hua Po".

Recommendation from Yagiya:

To mount a demon you have to buy a mounting ring to prove your contract to the demon:

• Intaglio Cerberus (Ring): enables you to use the "Mount" command while equipped
• Intaglio Feng Huang (Ring): enables you to use the "Mount" command while equipped
• Ariadne's thread : enables you to move to a location very quickly

Lv21-24: Clans

Do you know that a Clan is a group of people who are willings to gather and be friends? You can start a of your own Clan or join another Clan that already exists. If you belong to a Clan, you can also read the Clan chat that is only readable by members of your Clan. You can also see other members status and current locations.
There are even Clan levels: You can be rewarded with a "Clan Skill" if your Clan reaches the next level. Clan level depends on the levels of the Clan members and their activity level.

COMP Hacking Dungeons

Try to hack the virtual space in your COMP and attack the modified demon summoning program. You can obtain various demons as reward.
If you talk to the virtual girl or an Innocent at the Central Control Room in Shinjuku Babel, you can exchange the Broken IC Chip to Hacked Chip A!

The Hacked Chip A allows you to enter "COMP Hack" dungeons if you talk to one of the following NPCs:

• Turbulent Incarnation Kodama
• Turbulent Incarnation Cait Sith
• Poltergeist
• Newbie DB at HOME III
• Young DB at Suginami Camp Ground
• DB Watanabe at Shinjuku Babel

You better equip strong weapons!

• Schinavona: +3 Physical Defence
• Cross fire: + 3 Magic Defence
• Heixuanfeng: +5 Strength

Lv25-30: Looking for stronger demons

There are more dungeons you probably dont know yet! Make an effort towards the rebirth of Tokyo and help the public with your friends and Demon friends.
New strong demons are expected to appear around Tokyo. Don't forget to level up, use triangle fusion and collect new demons and items!
